Just finished reading -“Fleet Champions” by @robjhayes.bsky.social. Book nr 3 in the Titan Hoppers series. This series is a joy to read and puts me in a good mood, every time I go to pick it up. And I always know that I’m in for a good time. Sci-fi/ Action/ Adventure that will make you smile

Just finished reading -“The Raven Scholar” by Antonia Hodgson.The ending left me wanting more. And that’s a good sign, I think. A fresh fantasy, that did not feel too dense or heavy. But at the same time, dark enough to know that there were risks involved and anything could happen. A solid good time

Just finished -“There Is No Antimemetics Division” by and qntm. A book that can not easily be described, but thoughts that keep expanding and evolving, rotating into place like awkward puzzle pieces, that was lost from another time and place. A book that will have your mind twist in all directions.

Some nice sunny days, before the heatwave is supposed to hit. Some quiet in the backyard. Peaceful even…

Just finished reading - The Redemption of Morgan Bright by @scribeofhades.bsky.social. Holy psychological trauma. The length a human mind will stretch and bend, until it breaks into hairline fractures. This was a lot to take in, but oh so worth it. Food for thought and hard to digest, but fulfilling

Just finished-“Seed” by Ania Ahlborn. What can I say. This went darker than I expected. Such a creeping sense of dread. Stuff of nightmares, written down on blood soaked pages. This hooked me from the start and I finished it in three days. Signs of a great read. An easy recommend. If you like horror

Just finished reading - “Bury Your Gays” by @chucktingle.bsky.social. I think this is my first time reading a book by this author and color me intrigued. A nice horror that goes the distance and then some. With surprising twists and turns, that takes you to places you wouldn’t expect. Awesome.

Just finished reading -“The Haunting of Sorrow's Leap” by @casorensen.bsky.social. A fresh page-turner of a haunting. The one where the pages seems to have a life of their own and your just, happily being taken away for a good time. An easy recommend, for someone who likes a trip to the other side

Just finished reading-“When the Wolf Comes Home” by @natcassidy.bsky.social. What a shapeshifting of a book. Never let your fears grow to big, for you to handle. And don’t let it take over your ability to manage your reality. Or this wolf will come and, huff and puff. And blow your house down

“Badlands” by @garykruseauthor.bsky.social. This book made me scream (in my head), out of frustration and just the omg (what the ever loving plot- twist is going on) When it goes dark, it goes dark. I have book 2 waiting for me. But I will have to let it wait for a bit and let this one, sink in.

Just finished reading -“God's Junk Drawer” by @peterclines.com. I knew nothing about the book, when I first picked it up. And I think that is the best way to approach this book as well. And get ready for an adventure, like no other. I had an absolutely lovely time reading this. And I do recommend

Just finished -“Coffin Moon” by @keithrosson.bsky.social. What a beautiful, but yet brutal story, that the pain could as well tear you apart. This is the second time, I’m reading a book by this author. And it just gets better. It just gets its hooks in you and reels you in. Brutal. But I loved it.

Just finished - “Grave Empire” by @richardswanauthor.bsky.social. What a book. A truly wonderful read. Imaginative and shocking at times. It certainly went harder, than I thought it would. And that’s not a bad thing. A refreshing take on magic. And devastating at the same time. Awesome.

Not in the right headspace, to do as much of reading as I’d like. Not focused enough and too easily distracted. Too much is happening everywhere, right now. But. Let’s get through the weekend. One day at a time. And hope the coming week is a start, for something good and special.

Just finished - White Night by Jim Butcher. This was a much better book in some ways, than the last one. So I guess you can say, that I was pleasantly surprised. I did not have high hopes, when I started it. But never judge a book by a cover. Even nine books in. I’m actually excited for the next one

Just finished reading - “Voices in the Snow” by Darcy Coates. I have a few of her books now. There is something about the mystery / ghosts/ haunting novels, that always draws me back. I love a good haunting, in a big house. This is somewhat that. Almost. But still a good time.

Waiting for spring to come. And summer. Hoping for good vibes this year. And maybe something special. Who knows. I’m good at being patient 🤪😉. Have a lovely day/ evening/ night, wherever you are…

Just finished reading - “Vultures” by @luketarzian.bsky.social. How have I had this book in my library for two years and just now read it. It’s criminal. This book and story has a heart beating, throughout the darkness that envelopes and destroys. A heart that is needed, even now. A fragile beauty

This is not your normal form for Candy. I repeat, its NOT. Just finished reading - The Candy Witch by @ronaldmcgillvray.bsky.social. Don’t be under any illusion that this will be a smooth ride. It will get bumpy. And it will be a screamer. Read and enjoy. Get your heart and pulse pumping.

Just finished - Red River Seven by @anthonyryan.bsky.social. Claustrophobic and suspenseful, is what comes to my mind with this book. A lot of the writing makes you hold your breath, without being beware. I will say that the ending, left me wanting something more. But a solid read, absolutely.

Finished - Butcher's Folly by @nicksnapeauthor.bsky.social. I loved book 1 in this series and I was very excited to get back. And it did not disappoint. And I’m so ready, to read book 3. But I have to pace myself. Fun action and full of thrills. Be ready for a solid ride. Get your magboots on.

Just finished reading- Between Two Fires by @buehlmeister.bsky.social Brutal. But yet beautiful. Tragic. But still, all that you need. To find hope, where there is none. A spark of a thing called love. And take it, for what it was. A memory. And I will always remember. Book of the year.
