Book 9 of 2026: Angel Down by Daniel Kraus. Was not what I was expecting going in at all. The book is written as one continuous run-on sentence which took some getting used to, but I was able to adjust fairly quickly. An absolutely brutal read.
Why is there not more 'Protoman' Kyle Fletcher or 90s animated Protoman but dressed as 'Protostar' Kyle Fletcher?! There's no way more people haven't made that connection.

Book 8 of 2026: Misery by Stephen King. This is the first King book I've read, and I loved it. I was worried that how much I love the move would impact how much I enjoyed the book, but thankfully that didn't happen.
Got home from work to find some Jehovah's Witness paper in my door. Am I losing my mind, or is this not just Zohran Mamdani?!
I have confirmed that the rumors around CM Punk's Wrestlemania politicking and heat with TKO come from Punk working to start a Union. TKO is allowing it to proceed and we will get a new Union faction that includes CM Punk, LA Knight, and a returning New Day.
Something must have happened that I am blissfully unaware of, but my timeline is full of people talking about weapon degradation again.
Game 8 of 2026: Super Meat Boy 3D. I beat all the Light World levels and unlocked a few characters and I'm calling it there. Clearly some growing pains in the transition to 3D that made the handling feel bad in some spots, which made for an overall frustrating experience.
I am the least handy person you know. By a lot. So this is how I felt after replacing the faucet head of our kitchen sink AND getting the right connector on the first try.
Game 7 of 2026: Replaced. Loved this game! The art, the music, the story all fantastic!

I pretty much won the lottery this morning, I was able to snag one of the Goblin Storm Secret Lair Commander decks! I know so many people who wanted one, but missed out because the current setup for Secret Lair drops is absolutely busted.
I love Doctor Doom and I absolutely would have tried these if they weren't EIGHT DOLLARS!
Book 7 of 2026: Carl's Doomsday Scenario by Matt Dinniman. Book two of the Dungeon Crawler Carl series. Much like the first book, I really enjoyed this. I continue to like Carl and Princess Donut more and more, and learning more about the larger universe has been interesting!
