A lot of my tipsy movieposting seems to end up in the drafts (probably for the best?) but here’s some drafts for those interested. * These aren’t all from three days ago btw. Apparently I went through a bunch of them that night and saved them? idk.

Finished the project quickly tonight and had some material left over, so I made another small pillowcase for my couch pillow. Tacky? ✅ Better than before? ✅

My dog is very cute and just a little mischievous which is great because occasionally I get good pictures of him and in exchange he slams into my leg hard enough while playing that I sprain my knee and fall to the ground in pain but now I know how to use crutches so yeah a pretty good deal I guess 🤠

Spent the day with my siblings and went to a cool bookstore. They had a preorder tag for John’s new book!

Went to my FLGS for free rpg day and came back with some cool gifts as well as these two solo journaling rpgs! I’m excited :3

Got around to replacing my makeshift door sign. This Lego version will have to hold me over until I finally have time to make the quilt I’ve been thinking of for the last few years.

Once a year, a package shows up from my college friend. [🥳🎁] I missed every opportunity to get a copy of this book last year (they sold out instantly with each drop), and he tracked down EVERY variant??? I have the coolest friends, man.

Replaced with even duller suns
And no one noticed it until
We needed light but darkness won

I guess we should have seen it then
Back when warnings still came in
From astronomers and scientists,
Newfound shepherds, wiser men-

Can’t you see lightyears away
The differences are night and day
Carina’s hull has sprung a leak
And Kemble is in disarray

Andromeda has lost her head,
And Canis now has three instead
Hades’ hound patrolling heaven
Isn’t pulling at your threads?

But we just laughed, sat idly by
Underneath the changing sky
As they took the hunter’s belt
And strung up half of gemini

Cassiopeia lost her shine
But both the bears were still alive
And so we took that as our sign
That everything on Earth was fine

Now in dimmer days we find
The darkness isn’t one we mind
Who needs Polaris’s light to guide

My favorite day last year was spent listening to MBMBAM naming of 2025 with her (both times) before we knew she would be gone. This year, I plan to listen while taking him on a long walk. May we all find moments of comfort this year despite the looming darkness.
