When I was illustrating a ‘Libraries in Pop Culture’ article, I really struggled with the Sunnydale Library illustration. Buffy meant - means - a lot to me and I wanted to get it right. I drew so many versions of Giles’ glasses acting which I never used. Here are a few. RIP Anthony Stewart Head.

A lot of, frankly, morons masquerading as artistic intellectuals, think that in order for art to be worthwhile, universal, and future-proof, it has to be broad and abstract. It’s a miopic and reductive idea of what art can be. This piece, by David Detmer, is a good riposte to it. Some roughs:

A lot of the infrastructure of the internet is owned by US companies. It’s why, when Cloudflare went down, large parts of the net were unusable. We need to have our own nationalised infrastructure & all the US platforms taxed and regulated. In the meantime, why not buy a nice print for your wall?
