With the Representation of the People Bill due to return to Parliament after recess, it was great to hear Addey and Stanhope students’ views on votes at 16. They had such persuasive and articulate arguments - I left even more determined to see this bill through.

Parking officers working for NSL on a Lewisham Council contract need formal trade union recognition and fair pay. They do the same job for the same employer as their colleagues in Camden and Westminster, but are paid far less. I stand in solidarity with them on the picket line.

Spoke to Sarah Montague on World at One about the Timms Review today. The findings confirm what Disabled people have been saying for years: the system is not fit for purpose. I’m glad the Gov pledges any future decisions will be made in co‑production with the people they affect.
