Not the main point, but I was struck by how there isn’t even minimal professionalism at our major cos. and orgs. Shouldn’t a spokesperson check *before* claiming no evidence of a financial connection??? If America was ever a meritocracy (answer: it was not), it definitely isn’t one now.

This was my boyos, captivated by a ginormous cockroach on the ceiling years ago. I’m pretty sure they watched it all night bc all 3 were still there in the morning. The cats looked up at that spot on the ceiling longingly for a long time after the hubs relocated their “new best friend.”

This is remarkable! Thank you, Joe, for your willingness to learn and grow. Most people don’t have the courage to do what you’ve done.

I’ve opened my eyes and listened to people who don’t think like me. And by doing so, I gained a greater understanding of and appreciation for LGBTQ issues, structural racism, the need for empathetic immigration reform, the dangers of climate change, and the role government must play to help care for the neediest and most vulnerable among us.
