Last month, I was invited to produce a show for a small comedy festival in Philly. My show is "Flirt Vonnegut's Fantasy Basement" (I'm Flirt Vonnegut). It's a late-night talk show w/ variety acts, and every installment is about a fandom. Think geek culture Letterman. The Feb 5 show is Pokémon.

Yes! Great pull! IT is the origin of all American muck man characters, from Heap to Swamp Thing and so on. Swamp monsters were everywhere in the 70s, and Marvel adapted the Sturgeon story in ‘72, after the success of the Man-Thing’s debut in ‘71.
