Thanks to @sarahmackattack.bsky.social for my new profile pic. ✨ We went to Kinosaki in October, a tattoo friendly/tolerant onsen town in Toyooka, Japan. Ask me why I think the closest thing to an onsen in America is jury dury.
Lyft and Uber drivers who drive in total silence, no radio, music, or anything playing Pourquoi
Tonight I’m hosting an event where people talk for 5min about an open tab in their browser. Like an open mic night but for your weird search history. I’m currently between topics. Which do I talk about? - The “Diddy Laugh” - Pen & Pixel’s Bling Rap artwork - The movie Congo
Incredible spam text on the same day I brought several large scones to work
Tired: paying TurboTax on Tax Day Wired: paying strippers on Earth Day We’re learning and yearning and earning donations for @sarahmackattack.bsky.social’s science communication non-profit on Earth Day, April 22. Sometimes doing good calls for being a lil bad. 😈 biodiversitease.eventbrite.com
It's getting hot in here (bc climate change) So take off all your clothes (we will) It's a sexy fundraiser for @sarahmackattack.bsky.social's SKYPE A SCIENTIST on account of her amazing work inviting regular folks to help the planet by loving their city. COME THRU! biodiversitease.eventbrite.com

my latest fav is this one from local tattooer Henry Hablak. Wonderful, weird fish on it.

Not using Amazon anymore, and I’m looking to replace my cat’s very wornout bow tie. He LOVES this thing. Where can I buy handsome, quick release bow ties for my large orange son?
Embarrassingly sincere curiosity on social media!! Here’s a pic of my cat.
Capitalism is crazy, the clothing store named after a doomed economic status wants you to dress like the incest brother on HBO’s White Lotus
Caught a screening of Hollywood 90028 last night, and my life is different now
The video for Little Simz's "Flood" wears some spectacular influences on its sleeve
Me and the Movie Sickos saw Oz Perkins' The Monkey tonight, and it was a HOOT. I know folks are divided on this one, but I had an absolute blast. 🐵🥁
ANYWAY Come see Flirt Vonnegut's Fantasy Basement: Pokémon on Wednesday, February 5 for what will almost certainly my first and last appearance at the Drake. Also shout out Philly sketch comedy troupe Septar for having me. Thank you/I'm sorry!! www.eventbrite.com/e/flirt-vonn... #SQUIRTLESQUE
Flirt Vonnegut (that's me) has been hosting & producing burlesque since 2014. Fantasy Basement is more traditional comedy show, but I work with what I know. Which is why my friend, the very attractive Lulu Blue, will be performer Squirtle burlesque. Squirtle burlesque Squirtle Burlesque
One of my favorite talk show tropes is when an animal handler brings, like, a big snake on the show. CLASSIC! My special guest on the Pokémon show is marine biologist @sarahmackattack.bsky.social, who brings animals to classrooms, professionally. What are animals but...IRL Pokémon? ...right?
Last month, I was invited to produce a show for a small comedy festival in Philly. My show is "Flirt Vonnegut's Fantasy Basement" (I'm Flirt Vonnegut). It's a late-night talk show w/ variety acts, and every installment is about a fandom. Think geek culture Letterman. The Feb 5 show is Pokémon.
tfw you're doing a Pokémon comedy show and you have to check the contract for no mention of disallowing animals or female nudity I need to sell-out this show to make this worthwhile lmaoooo www.eventbrite.com/e/flirt-vonn...
I spilled A LOT of coffee on myself this morning, and didn't have a backup shirt. Shout out to Creep Records on 2nd & Spring Garden for the selling tshirts. I used to be a mess. But now I'm a hot mess! Go birds!
Yes! Great pull! IT is the origin of all American muck man characters, from Heap to Swamp Thing and so on. Swamp monsters were everywhere in the 70s, and Marvel adapted the Sturgeon story in ‘72, after the success of the Man-Thing’s debut in ‘71.
