Here's Baseball Almanac's page referring to a Screwball as a reverse curve

A pitched ball that breaks in the opposite direction of a curveball. It is held the same as a fastball or curveball but is thrown with an inward rotation of the hand and arm. It is spun out of the hand between the middle finger and the fourth and fifth fingers with the middle finger and wrist providing the spin. Unlike the curveball, the wrist is snapped a quarter turn inward and the ball breaks less and with less speed than a curveball. When thrown by a right-handed pitcher, the screwball breaks down and in to a right-handed batter and down and away to a left-handed batter. Because it is difficult to master, the screwball is not a popular pitch: the pitcher has to twist his arm with an inside-out motion, thereby making the elbow susceptible to injury. The pitch was first made famous by Christy Mathewson

Screwball (SC)

Definition

A screwball is a breaking ball designed to move in the opposite direction of just about every other breaking pitch. It is one of the rarest pitches thrown in baseball, mostly because of the tax it can put on a pitcher's arm. The movement on the screwball -- which travels toward the pitcher's arm side -- is caused by an extremely unorthodox throwing motion.

Grip
In throwing the screwball, the pitcher snaps his wrist in a manner that causes his palm to face away from his glove side. This is in stark contrast to sliders and curveballs, for which a pitcher snaps his wrist so that the palm is facing the glove side.

Because of the awkward arm motion, a screwball is exponentially tougher to throw than a curveball. But, in theory, it should have the same effect as a curve -- only breaking in the opposite direction.
