Depends on the library. Most allow only one license to be used at a time, creating a traditional queueing system. Others (North Yorkshire for example) make all the licences available simultaneously, so here 66 people could borrow the new Murderbot at once.
Copiously illustrated. I suspect this is one of those things where the history has been told better by more modern works, but the story hear is less about what happened, as much as what was the 1940s knowledge and interpretation of the events.
Hi @garius.bsky.social can you help me find a forever home for some books. My late father must have got these from a charity shop. It looks to be a set of nine bound editions of a part work, largely published 1939-1946.
How strange. I have a DWJ anthology with a toad in the cover and it's not the same book.
