For #showmeyourknits reuse or mend week: my mom’s favorite socks that she’s worn to death. First time mending a knit. I really enjoyed the process & I’m sure I’ll get better with practice. Now I just need to learn to mend all my own clothes. #knitsky 🧶 #knitting

Some of the things I love the most in my collection of tools and bits and bobs for this week’s #showmeyourknits ! Locally made project bags & notions pouch, a cheeky tin stores my stitch markers & tapestry needles, & I always have a cute measuring tape & stoppers on hand. #knitsky #knitting

I have a #FOFriday on a pair of socks that I think I’ve been knitting (read: not knitting) for over a year and a half. I used to knit socks constantly and I guess I’ve moved away from that desire a bit, but I love how these turned out! Pattern/yarn info in alt text. 🧶 #knitsky #knitting

Took myself on a much needed getaway. Despite it being Hades-hot in Tucson, I found a LYS, Birdhouse Yarns, & got some yarn for summertime tops. I plan to make a Tolsta Tee (Rebecca Clow) with the green & an Irene Top (Sari Nordlund) with the blue. The sock set is called “Mr. Tumnus.” 🥰 🧶 #knitsky

My finished Butterfly Fingerless Gloves (pattern: Kimberly Porter). The duplicate stitch was fiddly in the narrow space of a mitt and got off to a very rocky start (there may have been cursing), but I persevered! Pleased with the finished product. 🦋🧶 #knitsky #knitting
