According to my 1999 diary I took a day off work and watched the eclipse through a pair of £1.99 glasses while sipping a bottle of commemorative spring water.

A pair of Solar Eclipse Viewer glasses with a price tag of £1.99 from the co-op pharmacy and the label from a 500ml bottle of Devon Hills still spring water commemorating the solar eclipse. It reads, "a spring water to commemorate the solar eclipse on 11th August 1999. Bottled at source from a bore hole at a site recorded in the Domesday Book, 1086."

Meta demonstrating just how lacking in intelligence its AI is.

A post from Meta on Facebook inviting me to use 'their' AI creation tools. They suggest they animate my photo which came courtesy of the Society of Authors and reads 'META BOOK THIEVES' Mine was one of millions of books that was stolen to train their AI. The other photo they thought I'd like to animate was of my dead parents. I can't think of anything more horrific. Go back to playing with your pervert glasses Zuckerberg and leave me alone.

Genuine Nathan Bowen art or an admirer?

Graffiti art on a boarded up Art Deco-style garage. A stick figure saying, "Wher's the key?", a character holding a sign saying, "Employ me" and signed by Nathan Bowen, a pink character who looks like a spaceman and colourful bottle shapes. Apologies for the rubbish description but I haven't got my glasses on!

This is pretty much the same as the other photo but taken further back so more of the building, which is located in Wickford, Essex, is visible.

I used to dream of buying this place when I lived in Athens so I completely understand!

A beautiful abandoned house in Athens, Greece. The pale blue shutters are closed as if they are just waiting for someone (me!) to throw them open and step onto the small balcony on the first floor. A cactus continues to grow in one of the planters nestled close to one of the bricked up windows on the ground floor.
