Ah, it was a settign on my monitor that needed adjusting. Now it has the proper USB 3.2 gen 1 speeds...with nothing needing that speed connected to it lol
Wait, so is my cable USB 2.0 speeds or USB 3.2 Gen 2 speeds? I'm confused.
Lufthansa's first Airbus A350-1000 named "Deutschland" is the latest aircraft to wear the 100th anniversary livery. It will join an A350-900, A380, 787-9, 747-8, and two A320neo.
I had to create a chart to keep all of United's offerings stacked correctly in my head
Hell is freezing over. Frontier Airlines will (once again) offer Starlink Wi-Fi, starting in early 2027. But it's not just Frontier, it's fellow Indigo Partners airlines Wizz Air, Volaris, JetSMART, and Cebu Pacific. The word "free" does not appear, so this may be another paid Starlink offering.
United Polaris Studio United Polaris United Premium Plus United Relax Row United Economy Plus Seats With Extra Elbow Room United Economy Plus United Economy I’m starting to lose track of all the seat options on United’s new aircraft. The A321XLR will offer a Eurobiz-style blocked middle seat row.
I’m so fed up with iOS 26 bugs and slowdown (especially when I push the phone when traveling!) that I’m doing the unthinkable: Installing iOS 27 beta
Norway is out of the World Cup, but Norse Atlantic is still very much in it. It's spinning up a LGW-ATL flight for the next match. I love how its first email says "Fair play: the better team went through" and the next one immediately goes a petty with the spidercam tail and assist double meaning.
Welcome to Speonk! This is the most east I’ve taken @mtalirr.bsky.social in my adult life. It was totally fine and even a bit early. The Jamaica operation, though. What a freakin’ mess. Pulling in an 8 car diesel train 60 secs before departure when so many other tracks are open is brain dead stuff
A year and a half after I originally called 311/911/DOT/City Council/State Senate about this missing traffic signal it just randomly appeared one day. So thats a win, I guess. Wait. Enhance. Enhance. Rotate 75 degrees. OH COME ON! Another traffic signal pole that was also replaced is already gone!
Red Bull DC-6 and friends buzzing Downtown Brooklyn. Not going to lie, this scared the crap out of me since I couldn’t easily identify the weird engine noise until I was finally able to see it.
I believe the rest of that message also refers to it as the “new” MTA app
Way back in 2018 I noticed that the "big" countdown clock at @mta.info's Borough Hall station broke. I was eventually told it was damaged by water intrusion (along with the rest of the station) and they never fixed it. Finally, 8+ years later, a replacement countdown clock is almost ready! Woof.
This Amazon cargo “e-bike” may not be a full-size motor vehicle, but that doesn’t stop the operator from parking like an asshole and blocking access into this bus layover area. Passengers had to discharge in the middle of the street and then the driver had to run over freshly installed flexi posts.
I think the KLM Crown Lounge at AMS is one of my favorites. It has a really distinctive design with lots of difference spaces. I just wish it didn't charge extra for things like food/bev in the restaurant and the sleeping pods. That cheapens what is otherwise a very classy experience.
Damn it, camera. Pan left! (Source: www.youtube.com/live/0l-7ecf...)
Oops! Looks like Air Canada 774 took a high speed taxiway off 6L a bit too high speed and ended up in the grass at YUL.
The OMNY machines for JFK AirTrain are finally up and running, half a year after the end of MetroCard sales. I guess that's the end of the stupid saga?
Air Canada/Landline launched a new YUL - downtown Montréal shuttle, operating every 15-30 minutes for $9. Is the STM 747 bus really so bad now that Air Canada is running a completely duplicative bus? It's even cheaper than the 747! I assume this ends when REM opens. montreal.landline.com/en/landing
@thelirrtoday.com I wrote to MTA asking if they can look at moving the now lone TVM at Hewlett back to the platform instead of on the wrong side of the tracks. They didn't even bother addressing that part of my question, or about the sign that now points to nothing.
Yes, there really are enough Norway match ticket holders who aren't already in the US. So much so, in fact, that Norse has added not one but TWO flights to Miami for Norway's quarter-final match. That's 676 passengers, which it says "represents over one percent of the stadium's total capacity."
I love that, at least for right now, the @myradar.bsky.social Camera Network is just the @virtualrailfan.bsky.social cameras lol
@stephenjacobsmith.com UK colleague sent me this Facebook ad…is that a wall mounted residential PTAC unit?! I think it is. It claims 60 dB operation which I think is way higher than a mini split. www.electriq.co.uk/p/iqool-smar...
